Overview
An established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit a newly qualified Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team in Barnsley. This opportunity would suit someone looking to build a well-rounded litigation career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
You will handle a varied caseload of litigation matters, with the chance to gain exposure to contentious probate work, although this experience isn’t essential. You’ll take on direct responsibility for client matters with the support of a friendly and experienced team.
Responsibilities
* Managing and progressing your own caseload of litigation files
* Assisting senior solicitors with complex client work
* Maintaining excellent client care and communication throughout each matter
* Ensuring compliance with all professional and regulatory requirements
* Contributing to the firm’s positive team culture and reputation
What the firm is looking for
* A recently qualified solicitor (NQ+) with at least 6 months’ experience in litigation
* Ideally some experience in contentious probate (though not essential)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing your expertise
