Assistant Greenkeeper

Prestatyn Golf Club – North Wales (Full Time)

An opportunity has become available for an individual to join the greenkeeping team here at Prestatyn Golf Club. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic greenkeeper who wants to thrive and excel themselves with a great opportunity to progress their career.


The Role

* The ability to work closely with the Course Manager, update and provide key information, when required
* To be able to work as an individual or with the team
* Have the knowledge and confidence to go out mowing, complete course set ups and been part of the continuous projects throughout the winter
* Been able to apply fertilizer throughout the year (where qualified)
* Having a keen eye for detail and presentation when out on the course
* Time management essential as early starts throughout the summer (including some, but not all weekends)
* Knowing and understanding how machinery operates


Essential Key Attributes

* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 2 or above or equivalent in sports turf/greenkeeping (or working towards)
* Experience of working on a golf course or within the industry
* PA1, PA2 & PA6 (preferred)
* Have a very strong work ethic, great time management and can use their initiative
