The Role
A well-established and growing independent garage group is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop.
This is a hands-on role working across a wide range of vehicles, focused on diagnostics, repair, and servicing to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
* Inspect vehicles for wear, faults, and safety issues
* Complete all work in line with DVSA standards
* Carry out MOT inspections (if qualified)
* Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service
What You’ll Need
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
* Experience using diagnostic tools and multimeters (oscilloscope beneficial)
* Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence
* Basic IT literacy
Desirable:
* MOT licence
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or above (Level 4 advantageous)
