New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Pontypool area.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
2. Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
3. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Support children with additional learning needs where required
5. Encourage pupil confidence, engagement, and development
We Are Looking For:
6. Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
7. A positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
10. Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
