North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre are seeking a caring and proactive receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. The position will commence on 1 st February 2026 until 11 th December 2026. This role involves working across both of our Chelmsford sites: North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre and our branch surgery, Beaulieu Healthcare Centre. Working hours will be as follows; Tuesday: 08:00 – 14:00 Wednesday: 12:30 – 18:30 Thursday: 08:00 – 14:00 Friday: 12.30 – 18:30 Key responsibilities will include; Handle patient queries via phone, email, and in person Assist the triage doctor as part of the triage team Arrange home visits Manage card and cash payments from patients Oversee waiting lists and follow-up appointments Support clinicians and staff with day-to-day tasks Tra ining and support will be provided with a comprehensive 3-week induction to ensure a smooth onboarding. The practice has achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating and has an excellent reputation amongst Chelmsford residents. We are part of the Elizabeth Courtauld Partnership and are expanding with a new branch surgery opening in Beaulieu shortly.
