Job Description
The role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Finance Administrator to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial administration, supporting invoicing processes, and providing timely financial data to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
1. Ensure smooth running of payroll and invoicing processes, resolving errors promptly
2. Process payments, expenses, and financial records accurately
3. Produce financial correspondence and respond to enquiries efficiently
4. Monitor petty cash and resolve discrepancies
5. Chase aged debtors and report progress to the Director
6. Manage office facilities and supplies, sourcing cost-effective providers
Reporting & Processes
7. Maintain accurate daily cashflow records and forecasts
8. Update debtors spreadsheets weekly
9. Generate payroll reports and ensure accuracy before submission
10. Set up new client direct debits
11. Act as main contact between the business and accountants
12. Produce monthly invoicing reports
13. Complete weekly funded client billing
14. Reconcile deposits monthly
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
15. Experience in office administration within a busy environment
16. Basic finance/accounts knowledge
17. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
18. Excellent written and verbal communication
19. High attention to detail with ability to work accurately under pressure
20. Confident using MS Office or Google Workspace
21. Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
