We’re looking for an experienced Manager of Operations to step into a pivotal role at a high‑volume cold store and logistics facility. This is your chance to lead from the front, shape culture, and keep a complex operation running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting teams across 4 shifts
* Acting as the operational heartbeat of the site
* Balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement when needed
* Working closely with Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional service
* Maintaining exceptional health & safety and food safety standards
* Driving continuous improvement, LEAN activities, and operational accuracy
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management
* Reporting operational performance and contributing to site‑wide projects
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Shift Manager or Operations Manager in logistics or cold storage
* A leader with presence, confidence, and the ability to set the tone
* Someone organised, solutions‑focused, and calm under pressure
* A people‑positive manager who champions culture, quality, and safety
* Comfortable stepping between warehouse floors and management meetings
