Job Description
As an Accounts & Audit Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts.
Taking part in audits and getting involved from client meetings to carrying out testing
Completion of VAT returns and corporate tax returns
Ability to manage a portfolio of clients
The Successful Applicant
At least 2 years experience working in an Accountancy practice as an Accounts & Audit Assistant
Gained experience with preparation of year end accounts, processing VAT returns, performing tax computations, amongst other ad hoc duties.
Part qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or be Qualified By Experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills and experience with Sage, Xero etc.
A strong commercial awareness.
Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
