Summary of Role Purpose:
In the Finance Transformation team, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. Our mission is to help clients create a digitally enabled, human-centric, and integrated finance function.
Our Financial Transformation practice focuses on understanding core issues and delivering value-adding changes across finance functions, driven by technology, efficiency goals, and maturity progression.
We are a team of experienced problem solvers working with technology professionals to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardized delivery model.
Description of the role:
We seek a highly motivated Manager to join our Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare Finance Transformation team. You will manage project teams and deliver quality client engagements.
Applicants should have experience in the public or private sector, with knowledge of finance processes and technologies, and be able to:
* Manage transformation programs and project delivery
* Oversee client reports and quality assurance
* Identify and manage risks and budgets
* Develop client relationships and expand engagements
* Build internal and external relationships for business development
* Supervise and mentor team members
* Contribute to talent development and firm methodology
As a Manager, responsibilities include:
* Managing engagement teams and work packages
* Leading data gathering, analysis, and workshops
* Supporting training and knowledge sharing
* Mentoring colleagues and supporting career progression
* Building client relationships and supporting proposal development
* Representing KPMG at external events
Additional responsibilities involve supporting risk management, operational responsibilities, and internal team development.
The Person:
Candidates should have:
* 6+ years experience in finance functions or consulting
* Experience managing finance improvement projects
* Knowledge of core finance processes and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, WorkDay)
* Understanding of finance operating models and technology challenges
* Public or private sector experience in relevant sub-sectors
Core skills include people management, strong communication, and experience in finance change programs.
Desirable skills include prior consulting or audit experience, enterprise software deployment, and team management.
The candidate should value continuous development, active listening, teamwork, and flexibility to travel.
