Job Title – Construction Planner
Project – Commercial and Residential Projects

The Company:
A Main Contractor that work across Northern Ireland is currently looking to add a Construction Planner with a few years’ experience to join their commercial team.
Working across multiple sectors this contractor has experienced impressive growth and success in the last 10 years. You will oversee logistics for projects and ensuring work on schedule.
The Role:
* Producing programmes of a high quality which meet Company & Client expectations, within time allocated and in line with project deadlines.
* Providing guidance and assistance to sales and support team.
* Taking ownership / responsibility for relevant assigned projects.
* Liaising with external customers and internal team.
* Liaising with equipment manufacturers/suppliers as and when required.
* Production of tender programmes from "First Principles" which will then be developed into construction programmes.
* Monitor progress of programmes and highlight areas of concern with site teams, proposing mitigation measures where required.
* Regular site visits to assist site teams with planning matters.
* Collation of progress information & production of progress reporting.
* Report any planning issues to the senior project manager and site management team.
* Plan weekly site activities and provide as built progress.
Requirements:
* Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years construction planning experience which has been gained within a main contracting environment
* Experience at both the tender and contract stages of projects.
* Possess a good understanding of the construction process and how a project comes together.
* Strong communication skills.
* Flexible for travel when required too site.
