Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we enable and enhance telecom networks and deliver turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning of new networks, as well as repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks. This role sits within our Fixed networks team and involves supporting telecom network delivery.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Project Supervisor to join our busy telecoms team. You’ll be based in Nottingham or nearby and will lead teams, keep projects on track, and ensure safe and smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
* Lead on-site teams and coordinate project activities
* Plan work, solve problems, and maintain progress
* Ensure work meets company and Openreach standards
* Manage site visits, communicate with teams and stakeholders
* Keep records, report progress, and help train new starters
* Identify risks and resolve issues promptly
* Use tablet or laptop to update systems and submit reports

What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should:
* Live in or near Nottingham; travel between sites across the region
* Hold a full UK driving licence with no points
* Have solid experience with Openreach and understand their ways of working
* Have prior experience in a supervisor role
* Be able to lead teams, manage on-ground work, and keep operations running smoothly
* Spot problems early and fix them quickly
* Be confident speaking with teams, clients and managers
* Be comfortable using a tablet or laptop to update records and report progress
