About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable College Shop Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our busy college shop. Working closely with the Shop Supervisor, you’ll help create a welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide helpful, friendly, and efficient customer service
Process sales and operate the till accurately
Assist with stock control, deliveries, and merchandising
Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing shop environment
Support the smooth running of the shop and maximise sales opportunities
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is organised, reliable, and punctual
Has good IT skills, including working with tills or similar systems
Works well under pressure and adapts to changing priorities
