Job Purpose
Responsible for fostering new developments, which will enable TechnipFMC to remain competitive in the market. Act as a knowledge disseminator and ensure the quality, safety, and costs of the projects
Job Description
1. Lead or support research projects on flexibles, rigid pipelines and SPS sub-systems.
2. Interface with laboratories and/or clients.
3. Cooperate with technical knowledge to solve field problems.
4. Develop test procedures and reports.
5. Be responsible for write materials design rules.
6. Be responsible for qualification tests of materials used in flexible and/or rigid pipelines.
7. Conduct technical audits on suppliers used by TPFMC.
8. Propose process improvements.
9. Work on SSI (Standardization, Simplification and Industrialization) initiatives.
10. Availability for travel.
11. Location: Tech Center - Ilha do Fundão - Rio de Janeiro.
You are meant for this job if:
12. Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, or Materials Engineer
13. Master's degree in metallurgy or materials science and corrosion in CO2 and H2S environments is desirable.
14. CREA
15. Experience with fracture mechanics testing in a corrosive environment, such as corrosion fatigue, SCC tests, etc.
16. Experience with flexibles, rigid pipelines or SPS is desirable.
17. Advanced English
18. In addition to the Office package, knowledge of data science, Python and Power BI is desirable.
