A leading policy think tank dedicated to strengthening Western security through independent research and international collaboration is seeking a Procurement Manager to support the organisation's operational and programme delivery. Working closely with senior leadership and programme teams, you will oversee procurement processes across a range of projects, ensuring suppliers, partners and service providers are engaged effectively and compliantly. This is a key operational role within a growing organisation, supporting the delivery of complex projects involving international partners and specialist service providers. Key responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and supplier selection. Support research and operational teams in identifying and engaging appropriate vendors and service providers. Ensure procurement practices deliver best value while maintaining compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements. Build and manage relationships with suppliers and partners. Support contract negotiations alongside internal stakeholders. Help establish and improve procurement processes within a scaling organisation. Work closely with finance and leadership teams to ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and delivery timelines. The ideal candidate Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management roles. Strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements. Experience working in complex organisations or project-based environments. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial.
