Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Days)
Location: Preston and Leyland
Salary: £13.00 - £17.00 per hour PAYE
Work Pattern : Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a number if reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team on day shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established and famous companies in the Preston and Leylandareas
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
* Completing deliveries and/or collections
* Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
* Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Maintaining high standards of customer service
* Keeping accurate records of deliveries and paperwork
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
* A good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
* At least 6 months class 2 licence holding.
* Strong work ethic and a professional attitude
* Good communication and time management skills
