Brockhole on Windermere is now hiring enthusiastic Casual Events & Activities Assistants to join us at the Lake District Visitor Centre this 2025 season. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our events and activities team, ensuring guests have a fun, safe, and memorable time while enjoying a variety of interactive activities, entertainment, and themed experiences.
This role is especially focused on supporting events during busy school holidays, with a key emphasis on the Brockhole Halloween Experience in October 2025.
What will I be doing?
You’ll ensure that the customer experience at Brockhole’s events is a high standard:
• Managing guest wristbands, ensuring safe access, and maintaining venue capacity
• Assisting with the smooth running of scheduled shows, parades and activities
• Engaging with guests in character and participating in parades, and themed experiences
• Assisting with the operation of interactive activities such as archery, axe throwing, boat hire, and themed games
• Helping design and deliver family-friendly activities like face painting, arts & crafts, and pumpkin carving
• Selling event tickets, themed merchandise, and themed confectionery to guests
What we’re looking for
