About The Role
As an R&D Associate at Essential Home (EH), you will support and deliver successful projects from concept creation, technical development to launch. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role managing and implementing the technical aspects of projects with exposure to key stakeholders, partners, and other functions within RB. Strong ownership and leadership skills, along with solid technical knowledge, are required.
Your responsibilities
* Deliver assigned projects and activities for the introduction of new development projects and enhancement of existing products in line with the category strategy.
* Conduct analytical chemistry testing, data processing, and report generation for stability studies of products globally.
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (marketing, supply, SQRC, etc.).
* Develop comprehensive testing plans based on project priorities.
* Apply strong risk awareness and problem-solving skills, leveraging expertise and support from others when obstacles arise.
* Collaborate closely with innovation and consumer science teams to ensure seamless project transfer and successful market launches.
* Support format development and understand consumer needs to aid the product innovation pipeline.
* Work on next-generation products and explore new opportunities for existing products.
* Coordinate with technical development and supply chain teams to ensure timely project completion and successful market handover.
* Maintain a good understanding of the operating model.
* Ensure all documentation and paperwork comply with the relevant SOPs.
* Mentor and coach R&D assistants, taking responsibility for team development.

* Ability to understand consumer needs and translate them into viable product concepts using scientific principles and technologies.
* Project management skills to plan and execute projects within defined stage gates and timelines.
* Knowledge of R&D validation and production success criteria.
* Ability to interpret lab test results using statistical analysis.
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with good presentation abilities.
* Proven capability to manage projects diligently and efficiently.
