Are you an experienced Senior Learning & Development Officer looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our award-winning HR department. This full-time, 12-14 month fixed-term contract role is based in either Birmingham or London and involves implementing a wide range of learning and development initiatives for legal and business services staff.

The Role

As a Senior Learning & Development Officer, you will:

* Design and deliver skills training, development, and induction programmes for legal and business services staff.
* Work with with other departments on equity, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing training sessions.
* Support compliance training and mentoring programmes.
* Introduce and occasionally deliver training sessions, driving L&D innovation.
* Assess training needs, recommend interventions, and support professional qualifications.
* Update the firm's intranet and Learning Management System.
* Use psychometric tools for L&D purposes and assist with CPD queries.
* Attend training committee and L&D-related meetings.
* Occasionally travel to other UK offices.

The Candidate

The ideal Senior Learning & Development Officer will have:

* At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within legal or professional services.
* A passion for learning and development.
* Excellent project management and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
* A proactive and positive team player attitude.
* Flexibility, dedication, and strong service ethic.
* The ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
