Axcis Education are working closely with a special school who are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher to lead the Science curriculum in September 2024 and to join a thriving and happy team. You will need to have the knowledge, skills and creativity to be an outstanding teacher. A genuine passion to enhance the learning and life chances of SEND students by introducing them to the wide range of skills and knowledge of science is most important. Main Duties and responsibilities • Working within the Science department to raise student achievement. • The continued development of the department. • Teach the Science curriculum at key stage 3 and 4 to GCSE level. • Contribute to enrichment and intervention support within the Science department.
