This role has responsibility for maximising the commercial potential, while upholding the school’s values, through leading and organising all external commercial lettings to deliver a programme of impactful events. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining a successful marketing plan to ensure an ongoing stream of bookings; responding to enquiries and showing potential customers the facilities; negotiating letting contracts and drawing up hire agreements; and liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth allocation of duties for all relevant department before and during events.
You will have excellent organisational and prioritising skills, the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external clients and experience in a customer-focused role, ideally in events management.
This is a fixed term contract (six months initially), part-time role, working 3 days a week on a full year basis. The salary for the role is £35,000 per annum (£21,000 pro rata). Due to the nature of the role, there is an expectation that the postholder will demonstrate high flexibility to be available at evening/weekends at times when there are lettings or events taking place at the school. In return, there is flexibility in the working pattern over the year.
