Maintenance Engineer
Shift: 4 on 4 off - days/nights

This key role in a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility is responsible for ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably. You will work hands‑on with modern technology, performing both preventive and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support production targets.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structured problem‑solving techniques.
* Perform advanced maintenance tasks individually and as part of a close‑knit team to resolve control and mechanical challenges.
* Lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance and participating in risk assessments.
* Drive site‑wide projects and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational efficiencies.
* Collaborate with team members across all shifts to foster a culture of best practices.
* Proactively problem‑solve, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
* Time‑served or apprentice training as an Electrical, Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer, qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3/ONC or higher.
* Positive, can‑do attitude with exceptional communication skills.
