Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Assistant Practitioner looking for a fresh start? Come and join Sirona in a role where you can make a real difference to the community you live in.
You will work in a team with other multi-disciplinary professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, administrators and other support staff on a rota system between the hours of 8 am‑8 pm over a 7‑day working period.
Excellent communication and clinical skills, experience of working within a team, good time management and the ability to prioritise workload are essential. You will be required to use electronic patient record systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and treatment to patients on the caseload with guidance from the wider team.
* Maintain a high professional standard of care in adherence to all protocols, policies and guidelines.
* Manage a patient’s care plan within your scope of practice with support from the wider team.
* Provide clinical assistance to other members of the clinical team.
* Maintain accurate electronic clinical records.
* Respond to referrals across urgent and planned pathways, including hospital discharge facilitation.
* Proactively monitor and manage patients on the caseload to ensure the best outcomes.
Qualifications
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Experience and competency in clinical assessment, physical assessment and clinical reasoning.
* Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Excellent communication skills and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
