Role Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a Construction Associate (2–6 PQE) to join a growing Construction & Engineering team, advising on non-contentious matters across development, infrastructure and energy projects throughout the UK.
You will work closely with funders, developers, contractors and suppliers across the supply chain, gaining exposure to complex, high-value projects. The role offers genuine scope to build sector expertise, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing growth of a well-established practice — all within a supportive and hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a variety of non-contentious construction matters, ensuring transactions and project deliverables are progressed efficiently and accurately
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by advising on risk, options and commercial outcomes
• Draft and negotiate construction documentation including JCT and NEC contracts, enhancing your technical expertise
• Support due diligence processes on real estate and corporate transactions, broadening transactional exposure
• Contribute to business development initiatives, networking and marketing activity to build your personal brand
• Mentor and support junior lawyers, developing leadership and supervisory skills
Requirements:
• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–6 PQE in non-contentious construction law
• Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC standard forms of contract
• Experience advising on construction security packages and construction due diligence
• Confident client management skills with a commercial and solutions-focused approach
