About the Role: MET Strip/Fitter Technician
As a MET Strip/Fitter Technician at our Glasgow Bodyshop, you’ll play a vital role in our accident repair process. Your main duties will include:
* Dismantling and reassembling vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and specifications.
* Conducting detailed inspections to assess vehicle damage and identify repair requirements.
* Using your expertise to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to ensure all repairs are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
About You
To excel in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience as a MET Strip/Fitter or in a similar role within the Bodyshop and accident repair industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and Bodyshop equipment.
* A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
