Credit Controller Your new role Working for a government organisation, you will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Credit Controller - Interim 6 months 1 day/ week in the office, 4 days from home 37 hours/ week East London Key Responsibilities Manage a defined portfolio of debtor/customer accounts within a specific section of the sales ledger. Ensure outstanding debts are collected and allocated accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales. Resolve outstanding issues promptly, working collaboratively with other internal teams where required. Maintain and manage customer accounts in line with agreed procedures, policies and guidance, under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager. Ensure full compliance with Finance policies, standard operating procedures and desktop guidance. Act as the main point of contact for queries relating to allocated customer accounts, liaising with relevant teams as necessary. Keep all assigned accounts clear, accurate and up to date at all times. Ensure finance data is updated promptly across systems that rely on accurate financial information. Support miscellaneous invoicing activity where required. Consistently meet agreed targets, deadlines and service standards. Undertake ad-hoc tasks in support of the wider finance function as required.
