Martin Plant Hire is a second-generation family-run plant hire company operating in Scotland since the 1970s. We cater to businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to large national companies, providing the necessary equipment, ranging from small tools like stihl saws to large machinery like diggers. In addition to our general fleet, we offer specialist services in lifting, welding, and training. We are also certified trainers by IPAF and PASMA, operating from our training facility in Motherwell.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Executive based in Edinburgh. The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and strengthening client relationships, conducting site visits, and selling our range of plant hire equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparing sales reports, conducting market research, and coordinating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Sales, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management skills
* Experience in conducting Market Research and preparing Sales Reports
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of the plant hire industry is an advantage
* Valid driver's license is required
