My client, a housing developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a scheme based in Grantham, Lincolnshire consisting of a total of 100 traditionally built houses. Mix of private sale and HA.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager on new build tradtional build schemes, will have come from either a trade or technical background
Duties,
1. Assistant Site Manager reporting in to a Site Manager
2. Support with inductions and toolbox talks
3. Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
4. Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
5. Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No'1 on site.
6. Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
7. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
8. Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
9. Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
10. Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
11. Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
12. Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications,
13. Trainee/Assistant Site Management experience on a residential scheme,
14. Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
15. Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
16. CSCS
17. First Aid,
