About this Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the department, manage complex transactional work, and develop strong client relationships. As a senior Commercial Solicitor, you'll be responsible for undertaking company commercial work including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and other technically demanding documents.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing complex transactional work
* Developing strong client relationships
* Leading the department and mentoring junior lawyers
* Steering the growth of the team and contributing to business development efforts

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A qualified Senior Solicitor/Associate with at least 4-5 years relevant experience
* Proven experience in leadership and business development skills to enable further growth within the department
* Strong technical background and commercially aware with a proven background in all aspects of company commercial law including buying and selling businesses
* Demonstrate understanding of the preparation of sale and purchase agreements and other technically demanding documents
* Good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and contract law
* Ability and willingness to learn and manage workload in an efficient and organised manner and meet clients' demanding requirements
* Enthusiastic and have an excellent balance between technical ability and commercial awareness
* Ambitious and dynamic with excellent communication skills
