Learning Support Assistant - Autism
This role involves working with students across various ability levels, with tailored curricula for each student.
Key focus areas include ADHD, Asperger's, OCD, Dyslexia, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The team includes outstanding teachers, support staff, OTs, and external agencies, working across EYFS to KS4.
The role emphasizes delivering key, personal, and functional skills tailored to each child's needs. You will work with approximately 55 students in classes of 6-8, depending on ability.
The position offers a weekly salary of £460-£500, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This role will place you in challenging environments, sometimes involving anti-social behaviors, providing a solid foundation of experience. Skills in de-escalation and effective communication are crucial.
