Job Description Were currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer ( Electrical Bias) to join a well-established, dynamic team operating on a large, modern site in Barrow-upon-Humber! As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in keeping the plant, equipment, and infrastructure running smoothly and efficiently. This hands-on role will have you working across a diverse and complex site, maintaining equipment, preventing breakdowns, and contributing to the ongoing development of the maintenance function. Youll also be mentoring apprentices and playing an active part in continuous improvement. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position! What youll be doing Planned and reactive maintenance across a 90-acre site Maximising equipment performance and minimising production downtime Reporting equipment faults and supporting fault diagnosis Design, implement, and maintain PPM schedules Keeping accurate maintenance records in line with health & safety requirements Coaching and mentoring engineering apprentices Carrying out tasks and projects as directed by management Hours Monday to Friday, rotating shifts; 6:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm Pay Approx £42,500 per annum (Depending on Experience) Overtime available N ight shifts may be available with an additional shift allowance Skills/Experience Required Electrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) Minimum 3 years in high-speed, continuous industrial environments A valid UK driving licence Multi-skilled with electrical bias preferred Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure vessels, and dust extraction systems is a plus Solid understanding of both electrical (single & three-phase) and mechanical systems Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal An understanding of Health & Safety Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads Benefits 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) Option to buy up to 5 additional holidays or sell up to 3 days Length of service awards Company pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Sick pay entitlement Enhanced maternity and paternity leave Free on-site parking Health & wellbeing programme 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (counselling, legal, and financial support) Discounts via Benefits Hub (cinema, travel, gift cards, etc) Colleague branch discount Fully paid volunteering day each year Extensive training and development opportunities Overtime available Training provided Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
