About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of the care home. You will assist the Home Manager and take full responsibility in their absence, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations and step in as Manager when required
Lead and supervise care staff to deliver high-quality care
Ensure care plans and records are accurate and up to date
Monitor residents’ wellbeing and manage medication
Support staff training, development, and performance
Act as safeguarding lead in the Manager’s absence
Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and professionalsAbout the Service
We support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, using a Positive Behaviour Support approach to promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Requirements
Previous Deputy Manager (or similar) experience
Strong understanding of person-centred care
Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to build positive relationships with staff, residents, and families
