Role Overview As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of fresh produce. Duties may include: Nationwide trunking operations One-drop and one-collection assignments Double-manned long-distance routes Occasional multi-drop or dedicated customer runs Ensuring all goods are transported in line with food safety and compliance standards This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with a fast-paced logistics environment and take pride in delivering high-quality service. Shift Patterns & Working Hours We offer flexible shift patterns to suit different driver lifestyles, including: Day shifts Night shifts Weekend work opportunities Shift lengths can be long but fully compliant with tachograph regulations, typically ranging between 10 to 13 hours per shift depending on route requirements and legal driving limits. Pay Rates & Earnings Competitive PAYE pay structure: Days (Monday–Friday): £16 per hour Nights (Monday–Friday): £17 per hour Weekends: £19 – £20 per hour Estimated take-home pay: £850 – £1,000 per week, depending on shifts and hours worked.
