Job description
Qualified social worker required in the Broxtowe Family Support & Safeguarding Team. Your role will be varied, working with children of all ages who are supported by Child in Need or Child Protection plans, or who have a Child and Family Assessment in place. You will work with the whole family network to support them to recognise and build on their strengths and resources, and take the lead in their own plans to keep children safe and well at home.
You will work together with a range of agencies to identify appropriate support service and progress the child’s plan, with the aim of promoting positive change within the child’s home environment. You will respond to risk with the support of your multi disciplinary team.
You are required to have 3 years post-qualifying experience in direct employment of an English local authority.
