As Class 1 driver the role requires the driving of heavy goods vehicles for the purpose of collecting, delivering & tipping of bulk material. W h ere p o ssible, class 1 dri v ers w il l be ba s ed at t he dep o t closest to their ho m e b u t may be re qu i red to w o r k fr o m o t her c o m p a ny depo t s as a n d w hen the need arises.

Proven ability of driving bulk tippers, hook-lift, skip-loader or car transporter vehicles
Capable of conducting basic maintenance including, but not exclusive to; greasing, oiling and fueling
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable Sk i lls
NVQ/ONC or equivalentqualifications in a relevant subjectarea GCSE Grade Cor above in English &Maths
Full geographical knowledge of the area the depot and/or Company serve
Relative experience in metal recycling and other associated processes
Experience completing Waste Transfer Notes
