We’re hiring for a CNC Miller (Offline Programming) to join a cutting-edge precision engineering business based in Ashton-under-Lyne.
This company has just completed a major site refurbishment and is backed by a full order book through to 2026, meaning long-term security and a top-tier working environment. If you’re experienced with offline programming and looking to take the lead on complex tooling projects, this one’s for you.
What’s on offer
* Up to £22 per hour (depending on experience)
* Monday to Friday – 38-hour week with flexible start and finish times
* Permanent position with great long-term prospects
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Additional holiday added each year (up to 7 years)
* Regular overtime paid at a premium rate

What you’ll be doing as a CNC Miller (Offline Programming)
* Programming offline using NCG Cam software
* Operating Hurco CNC milling machinery
* Producing precision tooling used across a range of industries
* Following strict safety and quality standards
* Collaborating with a small, skilled team in a modern facility
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller, ideally working with Hurco machines
* Offline programming ability (experience with NCG Cam is a real bonus)
* Strong toolmaking knowledge, with great attention to detail
* A hands-on problem solver who can work efficiently under pressure
* A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-tech environment
