Immersive Technologist (Education & Simulation Design)
Salary: £28,786 - £30,690
The Role:
Are you passionate about the cutting edge of digital innovation? Do you dream in 3D, think in VR, and live for immersive experiences? Oldham College is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Immersive Technologist to revolutionize teaching and learning.
In this role, you'll integrate Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and game-based learning into our curriculum. Collaborate with educators to design and deliver digital experiences that enhance engagement, creativity, and employability for our learners.
Requirements:
* Portfolio showcasing immersive or interactive digital projects.
* Proficiency in Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar XR tools.
* Degree in Games Design, Immersive Media, XR Development, or related field.
* Excellent problem-solving, UX design awareness, and communication skills.
* Interest in education and digital learning environments.
