Job Description
We are looking for a Project Logistics - Customer Excellence Specialist based in our Aberdeen office!
Your Role
The main role is to achieve the highest customer service quality and profitability goals through the management of the supporting workstreams within the team.
Your Responsibilities
* Arrange and supervise the transport of cargo
* Monitor the operational performance of all involved parties and report any issues that may occur
* Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, review and ensure that any KPIs agreed with the customer are met
* Manage GP planning and execute the business in line with rates given to ensure profit maximization
* Ensure all systems are kept up to date promptly and maintain an accurate level of data quality
* Proactively engage with other teams (hubs, chartering, engineering, BU, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition
* Review daily operational reports and take all required activities
* Maintain a safety-first mindset and report all unsafe acts, conditions, and incidents
* Participate in trainings to develop your knowledge and skills
Your Skills and Experiences
* Proven experience in the freight forwarding industry, ideally in road transportation
* Advanced knowledge of industry-specific guidelines and adherence to regulatory requirements is a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to foster a solution-oriented team spirit
* Good communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and be a self-starter
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
