About the role
As a Team Manager you will take the lead for transitions and mental capacity, working closely with our partners and adult services to support children on their journey through to adulthood. You will lead on the training and development of your team and our wider children’s services, building on our strengths.
This gives you the opportunity to use different skills, development knowledge about how we support children, young people and adults. A key part of the role is management oversight with an attention on detail which enables you to support high quality assessments and plans including that which require authorisation under the Mental Capacity Act. Although knowledge in these area’s is helpful, we will work together to support you to develop your understanding in these area’s built on our understanding of what works for our children, young people and families.
