Responsibilities
* Assisting the engineering teams with maintenance tasks to learn about the different applications of engineering.
* Developing skills in different aspects of engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manual machining and fabrication) within a manufacturing work environment.
* Gaining a sound knowledge of the plant equipment, facilities and processes.
* Developing an understanding of Continuous Improvement.
* Familiarisation with the company's systems and procedures.
* Sourcing and updating engineering documentation and inputting engineering activities into a maintenance system.
Qualifications
* Have an interest in manufacturing engineering and the drive to succeed.
* Have strong communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
* Have a high regard for safety, quality, compliance, systems and procedures.
* A technical mind with a methodical approach to tasks and problems.
* Have a minimum grade 4 (C) GCSE or above in Maths, English and Science.
