Salary: £31,499 – £32,525 inclusive of sleep‑ins
Job Overview
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their children’s home in Cowbridge. The Senior Residential Support Worker will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care and support, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the overall wellbeing and development of children in residential care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of care and support to young people
* Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
* Support the day‑to‑day running of the children’s home
* Mentor and guide support staff on shift to ensure best practice
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements
* Encourage young people to develop independence and confidence
Requirements
* Level3CYP qualification or equivalent
* Full UK manual driving licence
* Experience supporting children and young people in residential care
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep‑ins, as part of a rota
* Passion for improving outcomes for young people
