Business Development Manager – Subsea Structures Location: Aberdeen, UK Approach: Hybrid Remote, typically 2-3 days per week in the office Contract: Permanent, full-time We are looking for a Business Development Manager to seek and close AUV survey opportunities in the oil & gas pipelines and loading lines market. With an initial focus in EU geographies this role has scope for global growth. What you can expect Early-stage prospecting of the pipelines market to determine sales opportunities that support the near and long-term growth of the company Arrange and lead technical sales meetings to provide a quality overview of our capabilities to audiences that may not be tech-savvy Operate as the lead point of contact for all customer matters with the target market Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives Cleary communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives against target customers Forecast and track business development and sales metrics Support development and operational teams by providing market and customer feedback Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed What you bring Strong experience in sales processes, networking and prospecting with international customers, ideally in the oil & gas industry. Proven ability to understand customer problems and assess commercial potential. Willingness, persistence, and creativity in establishing contact with new prospects and conducting commercial discussions An entrepreneurial mindset — you take ownership, move fast, and learn from iteration. Strong communication skills and confidence working with both internal teams and external stakeholders at various technical and seniority levels Experience managing a sales pipeline to support sales targets.
