About the Construction Practice The team advises on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters, including: - Structuring and procurement strategies - Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, JVs and development agreements - Managing and troubleshooting live project issues - Dispute resolution: adjudication, litigation, arbitration and ADR The practice works hand‑in‑hand with colleagues in real estate, planning, procurement, energy, tax and sustainability. Role Responsibilities You will advise on: - Development, design and construction matters - Asset management and maintenance contracts - Infrastructure projects - Public‑sector procurement and decarbonisation schemes (SHDF, HUG, etc.) - Development and asset management for publicly funded housing bodies - Construction due diligence on real estate, corporate and banking matters - Client relationship management - Participation in BD and marketing initiatives.
