Contract details: Fixed Term (31/08/2026); Contract Type: Fixed Term; Contract Term: TTO - Term time only; Hours per Week: 32.50; Weeks per Year: 44.849; Pay Grade: Transform | 7 - 12.


Responsibilities

* 1:1 Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Fixed term for 1 year).
* Part time 32.5 hours a week.
* Support the class teacher by complementing the delivery of the national curriculum, working collaboratively with teaching staff in planning, managing/preparing resources, and delivering high quality lessons following the planning.


Role Description

Cantrell Primary School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard-working Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work alongside 1:1 with a child who has additional needs and needs support in the classroom.

* Be able to provide creative, inspiring and enriching learning opportunities.
* Possess and use appropriate skills to undertake activities necessary to meet the physical, emotional and educational needs of individuals and groups of children, including those with special needs.
* Have high expectations of pupils achievements and a commitment to excellent standards.
* Work well as part of a team.
* Be literate and numerate.
* Be enthusiastic, energetic and committed to making learning exciting.
* Have excellent communication skills with children and adults.
