Senior HR Advisor – Bridgwater - £60k plus excellent benefits
A leading engineering and maintenance organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join its team on a prestigious project in Bridgwater.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major infrastructure programme within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly across site, maintaining compliance with company policies, client procedures and UK regulatory requirements.
The Role
As Senior HR Advisor, you will act as a trusted partner to operational management, providing professional HR advice and day-to-day support across a broad range of people-related matters. You will be instrumental in maintaining strong links between management and employees, while supporting business objectives in a constantly evolving environment.
Senior HR Advisor Responsibilities
* Provide first-line HR advice to line managers
* Support employee relations, performance management and disciplinary processes
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, referencing and right-to-work checks
* Oversee vetting and compliance documentation in line with UK regulations
* Support visa and mobilisation processes
* Process leavers, payroll notifications and HR system updates
* Produce HR reports and management information
The successful candidate
* Degree qualified in HR or a related discipline
* Working towards CIPD qualification
* Proven experience in a generalist HR advisory role
* Experience within engineering, construction, nuclear, energy or other regulated environments desirable
* Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident operating in a fast-paced, site-based environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
