Protocol Education is partnering with a friendly and progressive secondary school seeking a passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join their well-established department after September.

The Role
You will teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop creativity, practical skills, and confidence in problem-solving. The curriculum is broad, well-structured, and offers flexibility to incorporate your subject specialism where possible.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and practical DT lessons
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to learn and experiment
* Using a variety of teaching methods and resources to maintain purposeful learning
* Adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Assessing progress effectively and using outcomes to inform future teaching
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and innovation across the department
* Promoting positive behaviour and building strong relationships with students
What We’re Looking For
* UK QTS, or currently working towards QTS as an ECT
* A genuine enthusiasm for Design and Technology and practical learning
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A reflective mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development
* High expectations combined with an inclusive approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
