Kitchen Assistant / Catering Assistant
We are looking for a reliable, committed and hardworking team member to join us at Continental Café. ( You must live local to Maldon Essex 10 mile radius )
This role is primarily kitchen-based, so kitchen experience is essential due to the fast-paced environment.
About the Role
You will be working as part of our busy kitchen team, supporting with the preparation of our homemade recipes and traditional menu dishes.
During our quieter period (mainly January to March), you will also support the front of house team as required.

Main Duties (Kitchen First)
* Assisting colleagues with preparing homemade dishes
* Supporting with traditional menu items
* Working efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen
Kitchen experience is essential
During quieter months you will also help with:
* Seating customers
* Taking orders and delivering great customer service
* Entering orders into our computer ordering system
* General café duties
Hours & Working Pattern
* 5 days per week
* Weekdays and weekends on a rota
* Weekends are essential (our busiest time)
* Holiday cover required on a rota basis
* No evenings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
