Clinical Lead Physiotherapist role at NHS Orkney. This post is based at The Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall and is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week).

The Position
We are recruiting a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for Orkney Health and Care Partnership, based at The Balfour. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership to physiotherapy teams delivering highly specialist care across hospital, community, primary care, and outreach settings. The post-holder will work as an autonomous practitioner with a roughly 40/60 split between clinical caseload and management responsibilities.
The Candidate
We are looking for a forward-thinking Physiotherapist with highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, who can contribute clinical expertise and potentially develop an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner area. Innovation and use of technology to develop services across our remote and rural landscape are encouraged.
Location, Working Pattern and Contract
This post is based at The Balfour. The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week).
It is a condition of employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post.
Benefits and Salary
The salary for this post is Band 7 £50,861 - £59,159. If residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per year. NHS Orkney offers an attractive pension scheme, flexible work-life balance policies, an employee assistance programme and various discounts.
