About the Roundhouse

We are now looking for a Handyperson to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The shift patterns cover 8 am pm (8 hours per day), as well as weekends, on rotation (on average, one out of three).

The Role
As a Handyperson, you will help maintain and support the smooth running of the entire Roundhouse estate as part of a dedicated team.
Working across our varied sites, you will carry out general repairs and maintenance to ensure all areas remain safe, functional and well presented.
The Roundhouse includes a Grade 2 listed Main Space venue, studio theatre, Creative Studios, bars, café, service yard, offices and Roundhouse Works. You will undertake minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps and running toilet cisterns, painting and decorating, light bulb replacements and fitting fixtures, including shelves, whiteboards and TVs.
Additionally, you will:
* Act as a first point of contact for maintenance issues
* Provide cover during Roundhouse gigs and events
* Carry out manual handling of items across the site
* Assist with furniture set-up
* Undertake basic gardening duties
About You
To be considered as a Handyperson, you will need:
* Proven handyperson experience
* Practical skills and proficiency with tools
* A basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, heating systems, cooling systems and BMS
* The ability to fault-find
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one.
The closing date for this role is midnight on Sunday 8th March 2026.
