Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
* Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
* Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper rotation and cleanliness of storage areas.
* Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
* A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others within the team.
