Salary: £140 – £200 per day
Role Summary:
An inclusive secondary school in Stockport is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to lead lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on delivering the girls' PE curriculum. The school has excellent sports facilities and a committed faculty who promote physical health and active lifestyles across all year groups.
Core Responsibilities:
Delivering dynamic and inclusive PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
Promoting health and well-being across the student body
Organising inter-school sports competitions and extracurricular clubs
Preparing students for GCSE PE and BTEC Sport (if applicable)
Contributing to whole-school initiatives around health and physical activity
Requirements:
QTS and PE specialism (ECTs welcome to apply)
Experience delivering a girls’ PE curriculum including netball, athletics, and dance
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enthusiasm and a team-focused approach to departmental responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
